The 13th Reason Why You Should Get Your Own Website Now

This issue is a continuation of a previous article of which twelve reasons have been listed and now the “13th reason why you should get your own website now” is highlighted. Some people believe that No 13 is associated to bad luck. Bad luck it is. Sometimes you will never know when it will strike you. At times when you least expect it. Wham! It happens. Things that are beyond your control and things that you hope not to happen to your website may happen and there’s nothing that you can do about it.

Having free sites and free blogs can sometimes cost you unexpected loses and some frustrations especially when you have invested precious time and effort to put up one. Because it is simply not yours technically you will have to comply with the owners on their guidelines and requirements. These are normally clearly stated in the terms of agreement at their site facilities. All your hard work can vanish beyond your control or perhaps being blocked or locked by the owners any time and what can you do?

Now, below is a very good example of how your blog can be locked by the owners. Think about it. You have done your best but it happens.

Quotes from Bloggers:

“{Blogger‘s spam-prevention robots have detected that your blog has characteristics of a spam blog. (What’s a spam blog?) Since you’re an actual person reading this, your blog is probably not a spam blog. Automated spam detection is inherently fuzzy, and we sincerely apologize for this false positive.

We received your unlock request on January 27, 2011. On behalf of the robots, we apologize for locking your non-spam blog. Please be patient while we take a look at your blog and verify that it is not spam.

So, having your own website, your own domain and you in control is the answer. You should get your own website and avoid your frustrations.
